10 Weeks from today will be the launch meeting of the Bamberg Toastmasters.
I am part of the enthusiastic project team working on starting an English language Toastmasters club in beautiful Bamberg.
Toastmasters is a non-profit educational organization with the purpose of helping members improve their communication, public speaking and leadership skills. (Learn more about Toastmasters International.)
The primary learning environment at Toastmasters is the club meeting. At the meeting some members give speeches. Others take on roles to support the speakers’ development while simultaneously developing their own leadership skills. It’s a self-paced education program based on learning by doing.
